Seriously My world has so little trees it takes like more than half the day to get to my forest though I know I could plant them It is annoying to get to them P.S. My 2nd world that I made in april well the grass looks A little dull compared to my other worlds.

dull grass means its a different biome doesn't it?
btw, if you travel via nether its faster. but that would mean getting obsidian...so just do what everyone else is saying. get a tonne of saplings in one trip and make a forest near your base ^^

Nothing is impossible. You're just too stupid to do it.
Tree farming is needed because eventually it will become very tedious to actually travel to an area with trees, I actually find it enjoyable to come back to the farm but if you really don't feel like farming you can always use bonemeal :cool.gif:
It's annoying when you want to move a load of materials like 25 double chests from one place to another far away.
Building a tree farm is easy. All it takes is some dirt, a couple torches and a couple starter saplings. Trees don't take a long time to grow, I don't see the point using bonemeal but some people like it.

You do realize that when you cut down trees the leaves despawn and you can simply swing by later to grab saplings? I could understand being annoyed that you have to get sand from a desert or clay, but trees shouldn't be a problem past the first day of playing.
You only need to cut down 1 tree to get saplings.
With only 1 sapling you can start a tree farm.
There is no reason whatsoever for you to have to walk far away to find trees.
If you are too lazy to make a small tree farm, I guess you are SOL.
Trying to get games written for windows to work on a Linux machine is like trying to put a diaper on an incontinent buffalo. Sure, you might get it all done, but you'll certainly be left with a huge mess, and it's very time consuming.
So . . . you don't like going to your trees, but you don't want to take the time to move the trees closer to your base and you don't want to move your base closer to your trees . . .
Well, you've pretty much made it impossible for you NOT to be annoyed, so there's not much we can offer you.

I'm very annoyed with this. The only way to get a second cow for my ranch is to explore far away, but if I do this then it will be easy for me to get lost. I wish redstone teleporters were craftable :sad.gif:
Plant some trees closer to your base.

maybe it's a base he spent time on!
2. Obtain multiple saplings.
3. Walk back to base.
4. ???
5. Profit!
Nice thinking *rubs beard* Lol but it is gonna be easier because of sprinting in 1.8 :biggrin.gif:
True I spent like 2 Days IRL to make my base and I like my houses to be big and firm
Good plan I DO have two stacks of tracks but since I have played the world since april it is HARD to find iron

You said it for me.
