Recently, in singleplayer, I've been experiencing game crippling slowdown. Whenever I open up Minecraft, I log in, and then I select my world. For a few seconds, everything runs like normal (at around 45 FPS if I remember correctly to when it worked), but then it goes down to 3 fps.
On the performance overlay, it says I have 3 fps, and the graphs that normally show game performance (I assume) is just two red bars, slowly moving across the screen. A bright red one that goes all the way to the top and the bottom of the screen, moving from left to right. And another one, as wide as the graph usually is, a dark maroon colour, moving all the way to the top of the screen.
Why is Minecraft's performane spiking so hard and constantly? It was working a few hours ago, and I haven't altered my computer in any way since then. Is it just something to do with my RAM usage?
