This feature is client-side-only - so I think this is a bug in this mod, or it is not fully compatible with servers (AmnesiaMonsters-1.7.10-1.1.1.jar)
Only the dev can fix this
Thanks for the info, the dev has been radio silent since 2018 unlikely to get a fix, handily you can regain sanity by standing in the light long enough so we will have to just work around it, thanks for the help.
