Hello. When I have players join they fall into the void. I have tried teleporting, killing, and changing the spawn. When they spawn in, they have their player model standing still, but are falling into the void (my friends told me atleast). When I kill them, the player model lays on the floor. They also somtimes get kicked, I am using 1.18 Pre-release 5.
I am having the exact same issue with my friends trying to join a server I made. I know this is 7 months after you had your issue, but do you remember how you fixed the problem cause I have no idea how to fix it.
Yes, I've encountered the OP's issue before, and in every instance I had it, it was caused by not having enough processing power. A Raspberry Pi can run a very small server, but the second you're generating lots chunks or have more then about 2 players, it WILL struggle.

A 4-core or more PC with at least 4 GB RAM running at 2.5 GHz or faster.

Let the server host reduce chunks and simulation to a minimum. Write feedback whether it helped or not.
