I am new to java and want to start a multiplayer server. I have been following the wiki (https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server) and have come across a problem. Under Common Instructions, I have reached the "Run the server for the first time..." step. When trying to execute the given command, I receive an error message in the command prompt. Image attached.
I installed the linked version of java. Command prompt is pushing back again, however. Says directory name is invalid even though the file location is correct and the file does exist on my OS in this location. Images attached.

Test running the server from another location - maybe it is an issue with your username (spaces)
Put "java" without quotes at the start of your startup script.
Putting "java" at the start of the start up script did the trick! Next step accept EULA. TY both! I will be back if I run into anymore issues.
