I recently downloaded the Minecraft server and set it up using an existing world. For about 2 days everything worked fine. Then as I was working on a sorting system at my house I could not open any chests. My house is over 1000 blocks from spawn. Soon after I couldn't open any chests I was kicked from the server and got the message, "connection lost." On my server log it says, "lost connection: timed out." I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Minecraft Launcher, Java, and the server. I also made sure that spawn-protection was set to 0. I took a .dat file from the playerdata folder from another folder I had from this world where I was at a different location. I could open chests and pressure plates activated the doors. I went back to my house and I could not open chests and pressure plates did not activate doors. I thought maybe my region was corrupt, so I loaded the world in my single player folder. I joined the world and everything at my house worked fine. I have Windows 10 computer with 32 gigs of Ram and Ryzen 5 processor. I only seem to have problems in that world at my house on the server.
Update: I came to the conclusion the problem I am having is due to my internet having low upload speed. At my house I have a bee farm, a wool farm, cow/sheep/pig crushers, and a chicken cooker. Paperspigot works okay, but there is a lot of lag. I also have a sorting systems with around 100 items set up. When I was working on my item sorter 2 days ago I hit F3 and noticed I had almost 200 entities above me. My upload speed is 7 mbs, which I don't think is fast enough. I wanted to pst this in case anyone else has the same problem.
