I dont think this is the right tab to write this thread but still i need help
You wanna host a server from cellular data?
Yes just when my friends and i want to play on a private server
I dont care about extra charges etc.
There is a high chance that using cellular data to host your server won't work.
I'm not a expert at mobile networks, but since you have to portforward, it isn't going to be very simple.
Wait, are you trying to host the server off of your phone?
I'm using my pc to host the server and using my mobile for the internet because i don't have a router.
Can you post results from speedtest.net? The connection might not even be suitable for hosting.
you shouldn't have to forward any ports, but you might have to add a rule to your windows firewall.
You have now opened a firewall port in Windows 10!

Navigate to Control Panel, System and Security and Windows Firewall.Select Advanced settings and highlight Inbound Rules in the left pane.Right click Inbound Rules and select New Rule.Add the port you need to open and click Next.Add the protocol (TCP or UDP) and the port number into the next window and click Next.Select Allow the connection in the next window and hit Next.Select the network type as you see fit and click Next.Name the rule something meaningful and click Finish. You have now opened a firewall port in Windows 10!
I will try that see if it works or not

That is the bare minimum if you want to use the internet while someone is on the server.
Minecraft servers use alot of your bandwidth, so be careful not to let the server hog up the connection.
It didn't work
I might just buy a server now
Thanks for trying
