Hello! I host a server for some friends on Hamachi. I always use a .bat file to have more RAM on the server. Yesterday I tried to open the .bat as always and it immediately close.. If I open the server.jar, it opens the server but with less RAM.
I also tried adding the "pause" at the end but the ms-dos window closes.. I also tried unistalling Java and downloaded it again (64-bits version). Creating a new .bat file, moving the .bat and server.jar to another directory, turned off PC (because that happened yesterday as I said)...
Now add pause to that line and post the error log.
I always used the "pause". I forgot to add it in the last reply, but even with the "pause", nothing happens, it just open a black window (msdos) and it immediately closes..

So I have no more options (I think)...
Here's the line (I changed it a lot of times):
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_241\bin\java.exe" -server -d64 -Xms4G -Xmx6G -jar server.jar
pause
Replace server with java.
Nothing happened
Post the startup script without any special formatting.
It immediately disappears (even with the "pause")
Or you mean about when I open the server just using the .jar file?
I meant the startup script you use to start the server.
The one I wrote on the post?
pause
Yes and I told you to replace server with java and get rid of the dash too.
I did it, but it was the same
java -d64 -Xms4G -Xmx6G -jar server.jar
Now add pause to that line and post the error log.

Try removing the -d64.
Nothing, the same
java version "1.8.0_241"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_241-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.241-b07, mixed mode)
Looks good, what's your total amount of RAM?
I have 16GB
Is your .jar really called "server.jar"?
Yes, it is
I mean, the .bat used to work fine, but suddenly it just stopped working haha
Did you try getting a fresh jar from minecraft.net?
