Look like there is an issue in the connection as the 9Th hop is timing out. there is not alot that can be done about that maybe in a few days it might clear up (it could be some maintenance)
Not sure if you're hitting the problem I am, but since upgrading to 1.12.2, the new Windows client won't connect to the new server because the server serves using TCP and the Windows client is requesting using UDP. I had to have my friends that use Windows downgrade to the older client.
We've been hitting our heads against this problem for a few hours now, and we can't seem to make any progress.
The problem:
The basic problem is that whenever my friend tries to connect to the server, he gets stuck on "loading terrain" and eventually times out.
What we've done/other info:
I have a vanilla server currently running on an Ubuntu Server.
I have ensured that my ports are forwarded correctly, and even used canyouseeme.org to verify that.
This was originally running on a windows 10 system, but was switched over to my Linux server to see what would happen.
We've tried multiple older versions of minecraft.
We both disabled our system firewalls to when connecting.
Any ideas? I'm willing to provide more information if needed.
Can other users connect? Can your friend join other servers?
Friend can join other servers.
We've yet to have anyone else try to connect, since at the time we couldn't get in touch with our other friends.
Sounds like the connection is not fast enough have you asked your friend to do a MTR test?
This is a tracert from him to my network.
