With the port forwarded server I have watched over like 20 videos like 2 times each and the portforwarding still doesn't work. IK that im doing it right because i have helped my friend setup a server before and his worked it was just too laggy bc of his internet. So what happens is i can join the server local but not with my public ip. I also did the ip check thing online and it said it was closed.
Now Hamachi, when i use hamachi and join someones network or make my own it says on the other persons name that there is a tunnel problem. I click on it and it says vnp status error, click on that it says network adapter error. When I go to device manger it says that Hamachi network interface has an error. Also when i go to network and sharing center and then Network Connections Hamachi isnt there
Well, the first step that I would take is to reset your router to Factory Default settings. If the problem persists after you have done this, and gone through all the steps once more, then you know it is not a problem with your router. You can therefore assume that it is either your ISP blocking certain ports, or it is your computer. After resetting your router, if the problem persists, maybe try resetting your computer.
Also, I would highly recommend that you do not host a public Minecraft server on your local computer. They are usually extremely laggy, and will be limited extremely by your home internet. Instead, I would recommend getting your server hosted professionally by a hosting company - I recommend XOMCLOUD Hosting. They are affordable and have the best performance I've seen.
Let me know if I can help with anything else! :-)
K I reset my router settings still doesn't work. How do I find out whats blocking the 25565 port, because when I check it online with this http://www.canyouseeme.org/ it says Error: I could not see your service on blablablabla on port (25565).
