When I'm playing just by myself by placing the world in the saves folder everything works fine.
However, when I place the files in the 'world' file of the Minecraft Server folder, and start everything up, the spawn point is wrong, both for myself and the other players.
Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong/missing a step?
Also wasn't too sure what part of the forum I should pose this question on.
I would also like to add that command blocks do not work either, even with the command block commands set to True on both the server.properties.txt file and through the server commands. This might have something to do with it. I would fly around and look for the starting point and then /tp players
Are there alternative services? Unless you refer to LAN which is my first choice. I'm all new to the server business.
I have used that process with single player co-ordinates but regardless, the commandblocks aren't working at all - which I suspect is the real issue. We spawn in the spawn area but the trip wires do not work.
