Hi, i've been searching everywhere, yet i cant seem to find out how to(if even possible) use bukkit on my own world. its not for a server i just want to be able to use the world edit tool and citizen plugins and such. thanks, i really appreciate the help its 1.6.4 btw
Second, yes you can. You can use any server tool you would like to host. Popular choices include Cauldron, Bukkit, Forge, and Vanilla. To use Bukkit specifically, you want to download the jar file. It will function similar to the minecraft_server.exe/jar. Then, let it generate a test world. You may need to create a .bat or batch file to do this. I am not going to type that here because I would like you to search via Google prior to requests. Afterwards, a world file will be generated. You want to replace this folder with the one from your C://Users/(name)/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/saves. Then you can simply relaunch bukkit with the world generated and you'll have your own world available via Bukkit.
I would strongly suggest that you actually search before using forums. You say you've been searching everywhere, but a simple how to create a bukkit server with my world pulls up multiple results. Additionally, why in the world would you need Bukkit for a server that you are hosting for yourself? World Edit tools exist for single player worlds (and no, I'm not linking them for you). Before you even begin experimenting with such, try to learn how servers work in vanilla and progressively move forward. It annoys me to see these types of posts that can be solved simply and I'm sure many people would appreciate it if you properly search.
