I know some servers have a link to an image of their world that updates every day or every couple hours, how can I do this with a command line version of mcmap or something similar?

Dynmap does the same kind of thing, and you have the option to do HD textures etc. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/dynmap/

Couldn't I write a batch file that runs the mcmap that is stored on the gameserver, ftp connects to my webserver and pushes the updated image there? How would I have that batch file execute every so often though? My gameserver only gives me ftp access and the multicraft control panel.
