You can probably type in google 1.1 bukkit and find the build that is compatible with 1.1 minecraft. I downloaded it today when bukkit was down for maintenance. Its not on the front page of bukkit yet cause I think they are still testing it, but the one I'm using is doing good so far. Installed it about 2pm today and now its 12:30a, my server is still running.
The tutorial I wrote below was for 1.0 I think, so I haven't updated it yet but it will still allow you to get a bukkit server up and running. I'm not sure if BukkitPermissions is still being updated, I think it is, but you can use whichever permissions plugin you feel comfortable with. The info in my tutorial should give you a idea on how to setup most plugins. Also I use SimplePrefix in here, which may or not have as much attention as it used to, but I still love it cause it does the only thing I want it to do which is a prefix for my different group/class types.
Going from a Vanilla Server 1.1 to a Bukkit Server 1.1 is incredibly easy! I don't know why the other guy has a tutorial or even that long of a response..
All you do is run the Craftbukkit server in the same directory as your old Vanilla Server was in (the one with the "world" folder).
Once you do that Bukkit will automatically detect it was Vanilla and convert it to how it needs to be setup.
The process probably takes about 2-5 seconds. :happy.gif:
I tried this with one of their previous Dev Builds of Bukkit 1.1, and it worked just fine.

I made the posted that much detail cause I wasn't sure of his experience level in this area. For some people it can be difficult and normally if you want a bukkit server, you plan on using plugins. I know I had difficulties starting a server and I try to include the issues I've run in to. A good portion of the time the plugins are not outlined or commented enough for some players who are not familiar with scripting/code to understand what's going on.

Oh and the most current bukkit plugins you probably want to go with right now are the 1500s, think the 1700s are for 1.1 but could still be buggy.
