This was an awesome idea, and it looks like fun. And people who are saying "fail" or "stupid" are pretty dumb. It would be extremely hard to get it to move fluently, and have a way of making it move fluently. Anyway, great job on this :happy.gif:
as others have said, cool idea, but it seems really clunky.
I think it might be awesome if you cold maybe set it up to just teleport the whole airship and everything/everyone on it to a specific place. set up like airship stations.
There is not, and I don't believe it will be any small task to port it. Singleplayer and multiplayer modding are fairly different in their tools and requirements.
As far as the clunkiness, yes, that's to be expected. There's nothing really to be done about it, either it works for you or it doesn't.
Bear in mind that this video is a bit old, and there have been many updated to the mod since.
Also, bear in mind that the ship in the video has more blocks than the mod suggests using, as it takes quite a bit of network traffic to communicate massive block changes to all of the players.
We used to have this on the server, but when hMod got bricked we switched to creative, we realized some flaws in it. Obviously the flow is bad when compared to Steam-punk Airship mod(one of my Favorites), but that is OK because its a server side mod(not client side like SPA)...
MoveCraft is a plugin, formerly for hMod, now ported to Bukkit.
Ask your server administrator about it today!

"horrible product".
Ahh, the eloquence of the internet.
bad presentation.
It looks more of like progressive copy/pasting rather than "magic movin' vehicles" as described...
I like the idea, though.
