After the recent attack on the forums posting to a corrupted download link to the D3 server it has been decided to release it although it is a older version.
Support will be rarely offered for this server as this was never intended, though if serious or easily fixed we will help you with it. D3 v0.896 - Download - Updated with ylt's fix
A list of commands can be found D3-Minewiki Although a majority are outdated and some materials are not present. This is not a virus!
Commands that work within .896
General Commands
/commands: Shows a list of available commands.
/cmdhelp <command>: Displays help for a specified command.
/players: Shows the players on the server
/pinfo <player>: Displays information of a player: rank, IP, ontime, login-counter, kick-counter, and player number.
/place <material>: Places the specified material under the user's feet. If none is specified the last built block is placed under the player's feet.
/pget: Delete or create a block in a space to show who built or created what block.
/rget: Displays the required rank to build in an area.
/bget: Delete or create a block to display blockname and block#.
/undo <seconds>: Undoes the own user's blockchanges on a map specified by the amount of seconds. If none are said, the default undo time is 300 seconds. (Note: Doesn't seem to work very well)
/map <mapname>: Switches the user to the specified map.
/maps: Displays a list of maps on the server.

/mapexport <filename>: Exports(copy) a part of the map specified between two points into a .map file stored in the usermaps folder.
/mapimport <filename>: Imports(pastes) the specified usermap into the map in the positive coordinates(+x,+y,+z).
/undotime <seconds>: Undoes the blockchanges on a map specified by the amount of seconds.
/undoplayer <player> <seconds>: Undoes the blockchanges of a specific player on a map specified by the amount of seconds.

There is more to a server than just proper code.
Support if needed; and .975 will probably be released when v1.0 is done. . .
And there is only 1 official developer, ylt would be the closest to a dev if we had em.
linux/unix support in this version was not made because it was very buggy under the linux enviroment, I'm not sure if you can run it under wine or not, though worth a try.
But as far as i know only the current (non-released) version has linux / unix support. Sorry.

The "D3" in the server title is only for the -OFFICIAL- servers of the D3 Community, if you have a old version please change the name of your server. You can get support for your server on our website!

Setting the server up does not fall under "serious" nor "easily fixed". Stop asking please. We will just say no.
If you honestly can't figure out how to edit text files, just stop trying to host servers.
