Just a little help here, I am trying to find a way to start the server as soon as the MCAdmin application is run. However I have found a way to do it using VB6 send keys command. But under RDC the k/b is disconnected when you disconnect from the RDC session, which makes sendkeys usless.
Is there any way you could add a tick box with "auto start server" ?
Hey there! I've been using MCAdmin for a while now, and recently even successfully in combination with hey0's mod. However, now I'm experiencing problems with one of hey0's plugins: CraftIRC. It relays IRC messages to MC and the other way around. The former works, the latter not. This is strange because one of its commands, /irc (which posts a single message to IRC), does work if the 'relay everything' option is off. This indicates that it is not a problem with MCAdmin trapping MC chat for its own commands, reinforced by the fact that other hey0's (+ other plugins') commands do work.
I've been trying to work it out with some hey0 people, and Drakerla from #MCAdmin suggested I make a post here. Halp?
It cannot work. MCAdmin catches all chat before it reaches the real server and only lets it through if it start with / (that's done so / commands work).
hi again, i asked this before but nobody confirmed or denied it...could you make it so limited blocks blocked people from destroying as well as placing certain blocks? also, could you make things that allow certain ranks have the option to allow or deny specific ranks to specific things, for example, a person at rank 3 can use the teleport command yet a person at rank 4 cannot (this would work the same way for limited blocks and kits). thanks!

Ok now I have a couple questions related directly to MCAdmin heh.
1. I was able to get the ChestProtect plugin to work. All works just fine, however when I set my people to mod level (op), only the hey0 commands appear to be overridden by the MCAdmin commands. (ie /ban doesn't work, but !ban does.) However at Admin level all commands work across the board.
Is this a permissions issue in groups.txt? I haven't added anything other than the plugin commands so it 'should' work.
2. When someone is kicked, regardless if we leave them a message or not, they don't get the message. It only gives a socket exception so they never see the message. Doesn't matter if a Mod or Admin kicks or bans, or which command set is used. They don't get the message, just the socket exception like they crashed.
3. Private messages through the console also echos your message to the server so everyone can read it. Is this intended this way? They still get the message, but it also broadcasts it for all to see.
I am running:
MCAdmin (92)
Hey0 (121)
I have the AfkKick plugin and ChestProtect plugin from the hey0 forums.
Windows Home Server
I found at least one post talking about RAM. I have 8 gigs of RAM on my computer. Running 64 bit Windows 7. I want to give Minecraft MORE than one gig of memory, but I get the same error about not being able to create virtual java blah blah blah.

MCadmin runs the server fine with a 1024 in the GUI selection box. However, whenever I try and up the ram to an amount more than this, on launching the server I get the java error of "cannot create the Java virtual machine".
Can anyone help me out? Ideally I want to give it 6 gigs since my server is getting quite a bit of traffic these days despite being a private server.
This is awesome. I donated a little bit and would also like to post and ask when we might expect to see more mods supported? mostly build related ones are what im referring too, such as the bridge mod or the flying boats. Thanks for all your hard work :happy.gif:
Hey, Today i randomly hosted a server and Toxicated came in. If you dont know who he is . Hes a DEV of MCAdmin
Wanna see a screenie ?
I was having my server up a 2 days ago and Doridan came.
Anyways, does anybody think they can solve my problem? Yesterday when I attempted to start my server up, MCadmin gave me this error message.

sorry for the double post, I just ran MCAdmin again on the remote server and it seems to be ok now, they have added a Donate button which might be the cause of this issue. If i have to donate to keep using this software there id no doubt that I will, its the best server software I have used. Thanks Dori :smile.gif:

It said "You are not allowed to run MCAdmin!"
On clicking ok, it took the server down and lost everything to the last backup (regular backups, but as the server was busy with people building, the peeps were a little displeased).
Upon restarting the donate question popped up (as the latest update kicked in).
Anyone else have this happen?
Same problem :sad.gif:
Is this something that's a bug or intended to happen?
Speaking of which, is there any way to change the rank the "op" console command points to?
and nothing comes up-.-
and how can i take away the ips?? i or my friends cant log in please help me
Oh, ups, sorry for that. Fixed!
Windows XP? Sorry for that, a weird bug I cannot fix.
No, MCAdmin does not use /op and /deop in any way. /op'ed people can /op. I left that how Notch did it.
What do you mean with "stops"? You get an error. If yes, post the whole thing ("Details" button).
