I really need some admin tools for use outside of my server and this seems to be exactly what i need... so if anyone can answer the following I'd appreciate it:
1. Does this work on server boxes? I'm not running my Minecraft locally...
2. If it does run on server boxes, will it run on CentOS and if so will it recreate my map? O.o
The last version (107) broke the dynamic reloading of players. Before if you'd change the group of a player from anywhere but ingame it would be picked up on the next reload. But right now this doesn't work anymore. Also you can't get it to work from the 'outside' because the ea.player is private :sad.gif:
This is on purpose. To 'reload' the character you have to disconnect and reconnect. From now on you're 'supposed' to use /modify which I'll be improving.
This is a dislike due to I have a sign-up system on my website for people to be able to play =/
Or is it they cant be online when the thing is changed? I use MySQL datasource and I cant risk that messing up

Thanks guys/gals :smile.gif:
Im using a CentOS across the country so yeah it works fine. Just copy over the map files and you're good to go.

If you have a signup system I don't get why you guys are complaining. You no longer have to /reload to get the changes, it'll load the current user from the database on login.

After I posted that, I left for a bit and was thinking about it. Didnt get to edit the post till I got home, but glad it works better now. Unfortunately, most plugins dont work yet with this so I wont be updating so soon just yet.
Even if you use the mysql, you might still need the reload command.
If it only reads user permissions/groups/info when they sign in, then you need the /reload command if you change any of it while their logged in (regardless of what data source you use).
Can version 109 place/create/replace the blocks in the map?
If not, make it so it can.
If yes, that means people could use your mod to create their own mods (with yours loading it).
EDIT:
Can version 109 place/replace other types of (non-player obviously (EDIT2: or maybe player type too?)) entities?

I seriously think version 109 is THE BEST MOD EVER if it can do these things I asked about
Just curious, but why the mob spawner when we still can't hurt them, and they still can't hurt us?
Because eventually (idk when) it will be fixed.
And this mod needs to be prepared to do so when it finally comes out.
And besides, mobs (even though their broken) are essential for rp servers that include combat in their rp.

To annoy the people who get sent into a jail... =p
Actually it will be for the future. Just think... you build a huge arena and do massively awesome contests. All you need is an admin or two and spawn however many mods and see who lasts. You could do a lot of fun games with it. At least, that is what I want to do.

being able to place mobs would make this mod even more popular

Also, try not to triple post.
