Anyways, updated. Now includes something for the people on D3 Servers, that will aid in Blob Survival. (I guess it could work for other things too, but not sure the practical usage)

- !Spat [number of blocks]

Will spam that number of blocks in the air. The bot will ask you for map height, and map width. Height is where you want the blocks spammed (Vertiaclly) and width is the area (Horizinally) it will be spammed. for now, it spams normal stone.

to answer one of the bots questions, put !Spat in front of it.

Also, it shouldn't spam the "Unknown command 'asdasd'!" in mcsharp anymore, I added something to block that out.

Ah well I downloaded yesterday, but the reason I asked is because it still has the same "asdasd" error and I thought maybe it was the wrong download.

So, the asdasd error is still present.

Hm, k, If you can get me a word for word quote of what it says, including excact case, I will patch it up.

Changes:
Added a admin form, rather than the pop-up we had before, so that you can add and remove admins easily, and without having to hassle with reading how to add / remove admins.

Added server bookmarks, so you can now bookmark a server url in the login window

Re-added the X button to the login form, due to reports of the form not closing

!Spat updated to not infinite loop anymore

Gotta love the bookmarks.
What I mean by the "asdasd" is that it is the same as before.
I log in and it spams me with "unknown command 'asdasd'!"
It spams me the moment I log in.

Added a small patch, it makes !Spat cover the whole map, and it adds the option to save your UN and password, making logging in even easier. I also forgot to uncomment it, so this version should not have the unknown command error.

Do note, the password is stored in plain text, in the windows registry.

I updated the SVN as well.

This, is a complete re-write of the bot, and I was able to make it alot better thanks to a friend of mine, YLT, who made the best bot for minecraft. his bot is what I strive to make my bot like. It is him who gives me inspiration to continue work on this bot. Anyways, enjoy the new, and (much improved) version of the bot.

I LOVE this and I use it alot but if you wanna be able to join the server AND have the bot online you have to turn verify names off.

Not necessarily, you just have to have a separate account for the bot. Also, I've identified a few things I've forgotten, I will be adding that and updating everything as soon as I can

I have a truly monumental thing added to the bot. But in fear of it becoming a greif bot with this, I Probably won't release it (or its source) except to those whom I trust.

I will post a video of it tomorrow.

Line by line: &5,10: -- 5 blocks high, by 10 blocks wide.
each # is a different block.

and the 1, 2, 3 in a patter, refer to the blocks set before.
with a max of 9 different block types
I would put the one for VB Minebot, but its in 5 different .txt files, one for each different layer.

My bot doesnt work, when i run it and connect and put all the info in it says windows bocked it because of unknown publisher, please help! Its 1.7 version, thanks

for the blocked, try right clicking the .exe, then clicking properties, and there (might) be an unblock button there.

I actually have YLT's bot, and its code is so crazy advanced, I couldn't decipher much in it..
As for it not starting, at all. I am aware of the issue and I have been trying to fix it, The only fix that I have found so far, is for you to install Visual Studio Express (Its free) for visual basic. (Link: http://www.microsoft.com/express/Downlo ... sual-Basic)

Again, I am going to try to work on this.

First off, I assume you put it as pie.txt in the same folder that you have minebot 2.0 in.

Next, you should check that you are on the admin list for the bot

and 3, You should probably use !build pie , not /build pie

anything proceeded with a / is usually picked up by the server, so I choose to use ! for a command prefix.

Hope I helped. Let me know if you have any issues or suggestions.



And, just to keep things neat I guess, I should post what bugs I've found so far.

1. The bots head still seems to go upside down. COMPLETELY. upside down.  -- Minor
2. The bot does not start on computers without visual studio installed -- Major
3. when building objects in vanilla servers, the bots location when placing blocks is sparaddic, and causes it to be kicked for a distance hack -- medium, being investigated
4. Sometimes when first logging into a server, the bot lags a bit. - Minor
5. If you turn on dev mode, and a massive ammount of block changes are going on, the bot stops responding to everything - Minor
