Don't have any other folders in your "levels" folder, just "backups".
It should look like -> .../levels/backups
Don't put any other random folder into "levels" and backups are working.
I don't know how a random folder was getting in the 'levels' folder, but now i deleted it, restarted the server and now backups working again!
Backups don't work for me. I only have the "backups" folder in "levels". No backups.
Because of this problem, I had to delete my original main level that had my giant canadian flag on it, because of griefers. And the last backup I had (only had 2 backups) was griefed as well. I had to make a brand new main.
Side note: Does the backup process have to do with how the .lvl.backup files are named?
For example, I have "Main.lvl" and "main.lvl.backup". Notice the capitalization. Maybe that has something to do with it? I noticed my PixelArt and OpLand .lvl.backups were "OpLand.lvl.backup" and "PixelArt.lvl.backup", but main was "main.lvl.backup"
I'll bet you get into a lot of fights because you're so hardcore. I wouldn't want to cross you in a dark alley. Heck, even in a lit alley, I bet that'd be pretty dangerous.
Also, in the wellcome.txt, when I put &2 before my message (or any color code for that matter), the message ends up like this:
&2 UPDATE: Guests are now able to use the /goto command. Main
> has been replaced with a new flat map due to griefing.
For example, if the color code was "&4", it would be
&2 UPDATE: Guests are now able to use the /goto command. Main
> has been replaced with a new flat map due to griefing.
EDIT: Somethings ****y with Pervisit and Perbuild. I have my oldmain.LVL map, right?. Well I set the pervisit and perbuild on it to "admin". I /save'd it. When I restarted my server to change the messages.txt, it went back to Builder for both. So setting perbuild/pervisit to admin doesnt seem to be permanent.

Does anyone know how to give builders the ability to use /tp? They had it before but when I updated with the Flist support version they lost the ability to use /tp.

I have tried every version on day7tech and the only one without a problem was the early undeveloped one (at least I think thats it), the others get some bogus error.
I even have pictures for this.
(Using mcsharp-190.rar for the pics)
Well if this was all a noob question, just say so. But freaken a, please tell me how to fix this.
Everybody is invisible, and the error is just really annoying.
invisible people you say? when i first started with my server i had the same error, and missing people and such, i checked the error log and found it was missing the meebey.irc.(blah blah blah).dll maybe it wasnt created whent he server booted not sure :/ but i copied it from a past mc# version and fixed :biggrin.gif: try that and come back :wink.gif:
If you searched the topic you'd see numerous posts with the same issue. Your antivirus thinks it's malicious and deletes it automatically. You need a different AV software.

you can get the file in an older version of MC# (that is if its not your AV software killing it (i think its just not installing it in this version because i have no AV software (OMG dont kill me XD)))
but yeah IF your av isnt killing it you can get it in an older version of MC#

BIG GLITCH.
Using /color <player> silver freezes your game and gives you this error:
The game broke! [java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 64]
It kicked everyone off my server.
FIX IT.
also THAT ^^^ D: it seems to happen with maroon too as all my guests get kicked when i change my colour back to normal
To those with the antivirus problem: Get Microsoft Security Essentials.
It's from Windows, it gets updates from not only the web, but from Windows Update, and it's 10x better than AVG, Norton, and any other shitty antivirus you may have.
And it's free. But you need Genuine Windows validation, so anyone with pirated Windows need not apply.

It half loads (gets to beth N Cass Multi-World)
and then it says connection lost: must log in, but i am logged in, and it wont work, andd no onecan join '_'
I have suspicions that its a virus, since i restored it after my antivirus quarentined it, i logged onto my emails to discover tehre was loads of crap emails sent my my account
Alright, but you do realize you're just placing the blame on a false positive.
Most likely, if your email is out there in the open, and available to see by anyone, people can easily sign you up for those free "newsletters" from various pornographic websites, they can attempt to use your email to sign up for other things.
As well, you could have had a pre-existing virus on your computer, and not known about it.
Every file that comes with MCSharp is clean. Get a real antivirus (*cough* Microsoft Security Essentials *cough*) and then see if it detects the file.
It's not detecting anything bad for me, and I've got all the latest virus definitions installed.

Still have users trying to connect to my server and getting the "You must login!" Error. I found that as long as I'm on the server, no one ever gets this error.
My map is fine size for MCSharp, but is there any way I can let people in without this error when I'm not in my server?

...What?

So with the 190 and 192 files, I get 2 files [MCsharp Information, and Minecraft Server]
I open Minecraft Server which gives me these files.

I then tried editing the server file with notepad, works fine. I had made a lot of edits earlier, but I tried testing just editing the name.
So I just edit the name so other people can find it, thats all I touch. I made myself uberop once, that worked fine but the same problem still exist.
The problem is I get this whenever I talk or do a command, other people get the same error.
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd18 ... ture-1.jpg
Everything else looks like this

It also randomly crashes, usually, but not all the time, when I leave using the WoM client.

Get a smaller main map.
