How do you use Omen with this? I saw the previous post about exporting as PNG but.. omen wont open lvl files.
Also how do I save backups of the different maps? It seems to only save the first map.
1. Go to the day7tech site.
2. Download DATConverter.
3. Make map in Omen.
4. Place DAT file in same folder as DATConverter
5. Run datconverter bat file.
6. Type in the C:/Users/<You>/Desktop/Minecraft/DATConverter/example.dat and hit enter (I used where my DATConverter folder is, your path could be different.
7. DATConverter converts file to a LVL file.
8. Copy and paste it into levels folder.
9. To make sure you can load/unload it, paste a 2nd copy and rename it to "example.lvl.backup"
I'll bet you get into a lot of fights because you're so hardcore. I wouldn't want to cross you in a dark alley. Heck, even in a lit alley, I bet that'd be pretty dangerous.
Check the levels folder. There should be a folder called Backups or something. Inside will be more folders, named after your levels.
Inside those will be numbered folders.
If you want to restore a certain backup due to griefing, figure out when the griefing was done, find the numbered backup from before the griefing happened, and ingame type /restore ##.
I always delete old backup numbered folders, and change the recent one to "1". Once a backup folder for a level reaches 50 numbered backups for the map, I delete the first 49, and rename the 50th to "1". Easy peasy :smile.gif:
Too many folders = space taken up on hard drive :tongue.gif:
EDIT: Also, you have to have the levels you want loaded to be loaded, in order for them all to be backed up. Can't back up what's not loaded, and hasn't been built in. Nothing to backup if it's not loaded and people aren't building on it.

Ok sweet! Works one last question =p how do you make irc work?
That....I don't know. I erased all the IRC options from my server.properties.
But I suspect if you have a chatbot on mIRC or something like that that does games or other functions, you can use the IRC options in server.properties to make it access your server and play the same IRC games on the server.

BTW - does the server support multicore? =)
We have one core assigned to it and with a lot of people on it it's peaking out at like 70%...

Im running the server on my homepc, a dual-core. So - yes it seems that it supports multicore processors :biggrin.gif:
I don't mean whether it runs on multicore PCs, I mean whether it balances the load or just uses one of the cores. =)
Check your load, Wildkatz and tell me whether it's split between both CPUs.

Oh okay i will try, i'm not an expert in this things xD
Minecraft Server.exe
CPU Load --> 0-2 %
Memory Load --> 12.388 K
Well, that tells me nothing. ;-)
Anyways - apparently the CPU load was so high due to massive griefing and flooding at main. ;-)
Now everything's back to normal. :-D
Still interested whether the server supports multicore. ^^
Supports the loading of more than 5 levels, has bots, perbuild and pervisit and chatting over the console should work (works for me).
Doesn't allow guests to use the goto command, however, and also op_Glass is bugged through having "g" capitalized. =)

the next final release will have
guest-goto = true
the next final release will have
guest-goto = true
Yeah, Neko-Baron made a sneak-peak of that. Any ETA on the release? Need the guest goto feature badly... I would revert to the older server version but I need more than 5 maps too...

Just as an update for everyone, the MAIN forum for MCsharp is http://day7tech.com/forum/. Sometimes it will be down, but that's what happens. Please bare with us as we get hosting issues sorted out.
WHY???!????!
[/rage]
why did you change the limit for uberop's cuboid down to 20000????
in the build on your website you can make MUCH larger cuboid's :sad.gif:

Because some one didn't update the svn at one point so its back at the limits I added, I've changed it back to 50k hopefully for next proper release.

How do I back up my levels though, because whenever It backs up it only saves main.lvl

My question about this was already answered. Way to keep on on the posts *thumbs up*
Chatting over the console works for me.
The version on Day7tech is apparently not updated.
This is the updated version: http://www.mediafire.com/?vmzmlmtmdyo

Please respond...
Not at this time. Maybe that functionality will be added in some way later.

My goto feature works..
A large source of information is on the Minecraft Wiki. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/MCsharp. This also contains a download link.
Also, an update will be arriving soon, hopefully this week or next. We have full fList support finally.
