Okay, I'm having a little bit of trouble. I've been running a vanilla server for quite a while and I just kept hitting the 1mb limit, and decided maybe it's time to upgrade to a custom server. I was told this one was one of the best.
I get everything set up, and then I convert my .dat into a .lvl, and put it in the levels folder, naming it "Main". I start up the server, but everytime I try to connect (Or anyone else) it says "You must login! Try again.". None of us can connect =(...
Can anyone help me with this? It's quite frustrating. Thanks!
Your map is probably too large. Rename it to something else and let the software create a new main map. Then load it in the game using "/load mapname" and once it is loaded use "/goto mapname".

Erm, is there a way to turn off the physics shutoff for flooding? Because on my big map, even with physics turned on, the water doesn't move at all. It's quite annoying, and our community actually likes to accidentally flood our creations if we mess up. It's a private community so we're not worried about griefing. Anyone?

More like in the first post of this thread ;D. I know it was pretty buggy, that's why I rewrote it. I saw you changed a lot, haven't tried it out yet but still good job. Nice to see someone who actually did something useful with this pile of shi- eh code.
Just two questions: Why did you remove the custom group feature? And why isn't it open source?
I don't honestly remember a custom group feature, not being open source just allows us to keep it stable plus the code was a mess. I still don't feel it needs to be yet but we do keep it in mind, no point having 50 different versions suddenly.
Another buggity-bug. The name of op_glass has been changed to op_Glass it seems to be case sensitive - long story short - you can't make op_glass cuboids, cause it says that there is no such block, even if you spell it with a capital G.
I want the /goto server fix sooooooooo badly. :-(

We didn't release the source because I figured you wouldn't want us to. We were planning on rewriting much of the netcode to eliminate copyright issues, but it proved to be a daunting task.
That said, would you mind if the source was released? and of course credit comes where it's due

Nah, like I said - I've been using the development version Neko posted a couple of pages ago and a couple of things are b0rked in it, including guests not being able to use the goto command, although this has been done to prevent a possible exploit, apparently.
