You will soon be able to set the build and visit rank of maps, while this wont stop people from joining if they find the link to the server, they wont be able to do anything but look. That's my excuse, and you wonder why I don't feel like doing much lately.

I'm having some problems with this. It's not loading the server config properly. The server is still named Minecraft Server and the motd is that as well.

Also, I was wondering if there is a way to mass delete blocks, like deleting an entire structure or placing air.

Edit: It only happen when you put +hax in the name or motd.

It did that to me too when i had non alphabetic characters in the server name or motd. Remove them and the server will work fine.

sadly when i try characters such as +,()/they dont work

Well, I keep getting this error: Creating listening socket... <18:49:15> ERROR! "error.log" for more information ERROR! :ohmy.gif:

And I tryed to connect any ways but the server never showed up.

Listening socket -- as in -- where the clients connect to.

so if it can't create it, it can't get connections.

Try changing the port that it uses.

Ok, so i just dloaded mcsharp. Put it on the serverbox my clan owns and tried running the minecraftserver.exe

Once i do that it says The application failed to initialize(Error number something) Press ok to terminate the program.

So any idea? I have tried deleting the players.dna thing and that didn't help. PLEASE HELP ME!

just rejoin when it says the error:You must login! Try again. :wink.gif:
it ok taht the .dna comes back, it does not matter, it's just the version that comes out is sometimes corrupted :shock:

Is there a way to talk to only ops or certain players? Also how is one supposed to issue commands via the console.
