If no ON/OFF images are specified then it will use the default displayed in the examples.
Server OPs: If you use this script you may see an IP logging in with no name then getting kicked. This is normal, it's the script sending a request to your server, it won't affect the server in any way.

It most likely will, yes. I would assume that your bot simply takes all incoming connections to the server and outputs them into IRC. The way you can combat this; DO NOT output "Kicked, not logged in" into IRC, just have it ignore any cases of this and you won't ever see the bot checking.

Go ahead and release yours, I haven't said you can't :| I had the idea a while back, according to whois on the domain I bought for it, it was back in June.
Sorry to sound like a jerk. But to me, it seems like you're on top of everything. You have skins, irc, forum, wiki. Heck, I'm surprised no one has minecraftmaps.com, yet!
