I dont have the message saved anywhere. Ill have to grab it next time it happens. And how would it not be related? Minecraft server loads the world into RAM... correct? If the server size is larger than available RAM, then what happens?
So then theoretically no matter how large the world is RAM usage should be the same?Just so that I compare it to mine, what kind of usage are you guys seeing on vanilla server with 1 player?
I have a server that is approaching 1GB in size (actual size of the server folders). I noticed that when trying to explore my server tends to crash.
I am running it on a Linux server with 1GB of ram.
So Im guessing this is happening because it is trying to load the entire thing into RAM and then it runs out of RAM?
Is there a way to make it offload far away parts of the server to the hard drive or something?
Anyone run into this issue?
