Ok, I'll be brief. I am opening a server. In said server, I want each rank of user to have a different colored name. I have the plugins Essentials Chat, Colorme, and Pex Chatmanager. First I tried doing so with the Pex prefixes. This didnt work. I would log in and on the Currently online menu it would have the prefix, but when I talk, I wouldnt have the prefix. Next, I removed Chat Manager, and tried to add the colored names with that. When I tried this, I got the same result. In an act of desperation, I put in Colorme and tried to change the name colors with that and I GOT THE SAME RESULT AGAIN! Can someone please help me realize what is wrong?
You're using two chat management plugins. You need to remove one of them (I would suggest removing ChatManager). Having multiple chat plugins can cause interference and results in problems like what you're experiencing. Also, remove ColorMe if you're going to use the PermissionsEx prefixes. It's pointless to have two plugins that accomplish the same thing.
