So first off, my ports are forwarded and they are tested open from several machines. I've hosted a server for a good year now and it's never failed me. All of a sudden one day, about a week ago, after my IP changed (like usual) I went to re-forward the port and now I can't get onto the server.
Yes after re-forwarding the ports are still tested open and yes I'm giving out external IP.
Here's the funny thing though... I can't see my server (Can't reach server) on the SAME machine that's hosting it?? And of course also can't see it from any other local machines or any other external machines.
This is just the native Minecraft server available on minecraft.net. No bukkit, no mods, nothing special.
I've confirmed my port forwards a good thousand times at this rate and I've done nothing wrong or different than usual. I've even gone as far as DMZing the local hosting the server and that still didn't work.
Don't know why this is happening either but randomly and often in the server log there are disconnections when there are no connections in the first place. The reason I find this odd is there's normally only 3 people that play on my server other than myself and all of them are at work when this happens. (No, they're not trying to play MC there)
I can honestly say I have no godamn clue what's going on so if anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated.
im basicly having the same problem but im doing a bukkit it worked fine with no ip but i add my external one and it cant bind to the port i do my internal one and it binded right but my internal can only go through my house so i feel ya brooh and my server is version 1.3.1 not 1.3.2
Well if I could even play on my own server in my own house I would be very much in luck but until I catch the wizard that has done this to me I'm forced transferring my server world to SP and playing it alone like that This has been happening for a good week though, maybe longer. I stopped playing and my friend told me my server hadn't been up for about a week so I guess maybe a week and a half-2 weeks...
