Hi, In early versions of Minecraft, the singleplayer was okay as 1.2.5, but now in 1.3.1, this is crap. I create a world in singleplayer then the client crash! I restart it, then the local server starts! How I can disable this? That lan server will break my worlds!! How I can load normal singleplayer WITHOUT the lan server enabled?
Damnit, Where I can disable that feature! I dont need that! It f*kup my worlds! Is there's a mod so it prevents the integrated server to start?
Sorry, I'm being angry with that annoying feature, how I can disable it? I dont need lan servers, I have a minecraft server set.
(ps. my english and grammar sucks. I do my possible to improve it. I'm french.)

MagicLauncher is the best launcher I ever used! Hoping the developer would update for 1.13.x and 1.14.x
single player is now a lan server/client. I'm sure the fix will come down the pipe soon. Do you have any error messaging when your game crashes?

Well, I repeated the steps to create worlds, I get errors at random times, like, I loaded a previous created world, the client closed itself. Then I re-selected the world and now it loads correctly. Well in older releases, you don't get single player lags but with that feature maybe yes?
I see it uses more memory than ever, good thing I have a gaming comp so that issue is okay for me but for older crap comps, maybe they will lag.
EDIT: Created 3 worlds without error. O.o I remember I got an nullpointerexception by creating a flat world...

Idk how to disable that thing, its useless for me! Maybe for the others yes, I already have a minecraft server and I dont need a LAN one! Not In my single player worlds... >.<
I just found out about this single player server feature of MC 1.31, so I have a question..
I have three pc's in my house. I'd love to be able to play MC single player in a co-op fashion with my two cousins (they are 6 and 7 years old, and they are fascinated when watching me play MC. I think it is partly because they are currently fascinated with LEGO and they see a similarity).
Can I install MC on each pc and log in with my account on each pc and play a LAN single player co-op style, or do I need three unique accounts to do this?
Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloody hell. All those liberals and intellectuals and smooth talkers - and all of a sudden, nobody can think of anything to say.

Confirmed. I just tried it. I was "Disconnected by Server. Server Closed" on the LAN "client" pc's, and "Disconnected by Server. You logged in from another location" on the LAN "server" pc.
That. Really. Stinks.

I agree with you, TNT-UP. I think that this is the most useless feature Mojang ever integrated to Minecraft. I never had the wish to open my world for a LAN (in my house there's only my PC with minecraft). It lags a lot and the thing that disturbs me the most is that the block I just mineded drops only after 2 seconds (like on a server).
Until Mojang takes out that crappy feature I'll play with 1.2.5.
They're never taking out the feature. It allows them to develop singleplayer and multiplayer at the same time, without two different code-bases and two different feature-sets. Sorry you're having issues but it sounds like its time to upgrade your computer.
They don't need to remove the "feature". I'm fine with them optimizing their code-base, but why not give us the option to disable it? Also, I don't need to upgrade my hardware when they arbitrarily add this "feature". I can simply forego updating until they fix the bug. Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just ranting.

Because that would void the whole point. That would mean they would still have to update their single-player only code as well.
