I recently installed flans mod and the modern warfare content pack for minecraft 1.8 along with journeymap and optifine and everything seems all right except when i take a gun out the 3D model is rendered next to the normal 2D texture of the gun. If you can help at allfix this problem that would be great! Thanks.
As just a general rule, dont use optifine with mods. Optifine changes quite a bit of the base game and some mods (mostly with models) need these things, causing anomalies. I dont know if that is the problem, but its a good place to start.

That's not entirely true. Optifine does work, and works well, from my experience. True, some mods (very few) may not work, but don't entirely dismiss Optifine based upon an opinion.

Thankyou, removing optifine worked the problem out but is there a way to use optifine with these mods? If not that is fine.
