I've got the windows 10 edition of Minecraft (The Microsoft one), and I am often having terribly low constant FPS, and FPS drops that usually last several minutes and occur several times an hour. It gets as low as 6 FPS at times.
My PC should run Minecraft easily at high FPS:
i7-9700K
RTX 3070
32GB RAM
MC installed on an SSD.
I don't get why this is happening? And there is little to no mod support for Windows 10 edition for mods like Optifine that should had fixed this issues in years gone by on the Java edition.
I have the render distance low or high and there's little improvement. I lower the graphics and there is some improvement, but still not as it should be.
Also, my render distance could be set at 80, but only loads about 10 chunks? I'm playing cross-platform with my friends, some on PC, some PS4, some on Switch.

Any help would be appreciated.
Reinstall MC from scratch.
Really, it's that easy?
I'll give it a try.
I have found out what the problem was, it was the texture pack I was using, PureBDCraft. Have a new texture pack and am getting 140+ FPS.
