Whenever I launch the game, a window opens up and shows the Mojang logo and be stuck like that for a long time, then the window will close (meaning the game crashed). Every so often, the game will actually load and I can interact with it for about 30 seconds and it freezes, but most of the time, it will be stuck on the loading screen. I have downloaded the Media Feature Pack, and it didn't make a difference. My original PC Minecraft still launches and works just fine. I realize that some people have already posted a similar scenario onto this forum, but all of them lead to installing the Media Feature Pack, which doesn't do anything for me. I have restarted my computer and game many times along with re-installing it. Please help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!
EDIT: Also, I have another Windows 10 Device that is much older than my current one and Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta runs just fine on it. What is wrong?
RESOLVED: The problem can be solved by disabling your IDT High Definition audio CODEC in your device manager (you can go there by going to Start>Settings>Devices>Printers & Scanners (then scroll down)>Device manager>Sound, video and game controllers>IDT High Definition audio CODEC>Driver>Disable). Fair warning, it will disable your sound, but you will be able to play the game.
RESOLVED SOUND: Ok, after doing some more research on the wonderful web, I found the solution to all problems. If you do have the problem with the IDT High Definition audio CODEC, go back to the device manager and the Driver>Update Driver...>Browse my computer for driver software>Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer>High Definition Audio Device (NONE OF THE IDT ONES *IMPORTANT*)>Warning Screen (click yes)
