I recently made a custom profile on the Curseforge app with some mods I wanted to play with. It crashed, so I tried removing some mods. Eventually I had removed them all and it still crashed. The following is a list of what does and doesn't work.
Fabric - Works
1.8 Forge - Works
ANY profile on 1.19 Forge - Crashes
Forge client without using Curseforge app - Crashes
1.9-1.18 - Untested
I've updated java and my driver, I've made a different folder for modding, I've changed my Forge version, and more stuff I can't fully remember.

I am also having a similar problem and I have a feeling this is the solution. But I have an issue, where is the config folder. It probably sounds dumb, but I've never been computer savvy.

ModeratorIt looks like Forge's splash screen is making the game crash.
Try updating your GPU's driver if you haven't done this already (last updated 7/25/2023).

As a last resort if that still doesn't work, you can try disabling the splash screen.
The file should be in your config folder. So the file path should be something like "config/splash.properties"
Open splash.properties in a text editor (that is NOT Word), then change
to
THANK YOU. I've been looking all over for a solution and I can see why now. A crash from the splash text is weird but it worked. Have a wonderful day.
