I recently booted up minecraft again and have found my game at a consistent 20-30 fps with no idea what is causing it / how to fix. In the past I have played on max settings at 100+fps, this is obviously some external factor that I am not catching. I have tried multiple suggestions such as optifine, lag goggles, turning down settings, allocating more memory, ensuring java is updated, updating graphics drivers, and closing out all other applications. I have also done an entire uninstall and reinstall, nothing seems to work.
I utilize PolyMC (the vanilla launcher doesn't work, either) and I also have recently downloaded Project Ozone 3. Knowing that there was a security breach with some curseforge mods I used their detector and I am clean, no malware on my device as far as I know. When I open the debug menu in game my pie graph shows 90-95% "unspecified" taking up most of the space: see the images attached. I have no idea what this is but I am pretty sure it is what's causing this.
I know this is an issue with Minecraft itself, as far as I know no mods or game settings are causing this since it runs just as poorly on a fresh vanilla 1.12.2 world as it does on my friend's fresh ozone 3 skyblock world. Running the game on latest release vanilla also runs the same. If anyone has any further help that would be greatly appreciated.
