Yesterday I loaded up Java 1.19.8 and when the world loaded it looked like I had a x-ray on. I can see mobs deep underground and all around me but that was it no blocks except for what I broke, nothing in the hotbar except when I scrolled over it. I took a screenshot but can not place it in here.
Minecraft is not Java. Java 1.19.8 has yet to be released (actually, released openjdk versions always have their patch number be 0).
Also, your x-ray-like behaviour indicates a graphic driver issue, not a Java one.
"Java" is generally understood to mean "Java Edition"; if their Java runtime was actually broken then they wouldn't be describing what sounds like an issue with the graphics driver, plus the launcher installs its own runtime precisely to avoid issues with a mismatched or outdated runtime (it doesn't even let you use a newer Java version without fiddling with the files).
This is also probably in the wrong section; there are in fact versions 1.19.80 and 1.20.10 of Bedrock Edition (and yes, that last zero does matter, a software version number is not a "real" number so 1.10 is not the same as 1.1):
Either way, the OP needs to show up exactly which edition / version they have, preferably with a screenshot (either F2 or Alt+Print Screen) with the debug screen open (F3) if they are using Java Edition.

What version of Minecraft where you playing? Different versions of MC use different versions of Java.
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
The 1.20--pre6 is the latest snapshot PC version
Snapshots have bugs and glitches. Stick to full release versions.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
