I recently got Optifine and Forge, and I am starting to use shaders. I picked Slidur's shaders. For some reason, everything looks really good, except for the fact that when I look at grass or leaves 30 blocks away, the shadows flicker. I'm no shaders guru, but I infer that maybe the waving of the grass makes the shadows rerender all the time?? Nevertheless, I am confused. So, I have come to the Minecraft forums for help. Thus, help shall I get?
I just tried using Kuda, does the same thing. Also (only on Kuda shaders) when I look at the water, there's a big blue circle on my screen, but I don't really care because I just want to use Slidurs shaders anyway.
I have tried messing with the settings. It works a bit better now, but I still see flickering. I figure I'll get used to it. Thanks for the help, Tile!
Slidurs shaders shadows. Darn, what a mouthful!

Check the Optifine download page and make sure you are using the recommended Forge version for your Optifine version
https://optifine.net/downloads
Your current Optifine version requires Forge 36.0.0
You can also test it with other versions of this shader
Also check for GPU driver updates
I am only using Optifine, but also I am using OptiFine HD U G6 along with Forge 36.0.1. My GPU drivers are fully updated.
Did you test it with other shaders?
Maybe it is an issue with sildurs
Seus crashes my computer, but I'll try another shader to see. 1 sec.

You also can try a different version of sildur:
https://sildurs-shaders.github.io/downloads/
Then go to the shader settings and try different options
Is there another version of the Slidur's Lite I can use? That's the one I'm using now, any other will make me lag a ton.
What kind of GPU you are using? Maybe the GPU is not good enough to run shaders without issues
Radeon RX 580, I bought it so that i could specifically use shaders. It's considered an average GPU, I believe
Test some different setting with the lite version
I have tried messing with the settings. It works a bit better now, but I still see flickering. I figure I'll get used to it. Thanks for the help, Tile!
