I bought a version of Minecraft java edition earlier today. however, after downloading and installing the launcher I can't sign in with my account. I keep getting the message invalid "email or password". I've tried changing my password and waiting an hour waiting. I don't have any VPNs enabled and even tried disabling my firewall and restarting my computer, even uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher. I was however able to log onto my roommate's computer on the same wifi. I even tried making a new email address and tried signing in with a free account and that didn't work. I also can't seem to log in to the minecraft.net website. I've contacted support but there dealing with high traffic and haven't gotten back to me yet was hoping someone in the community would have the solution to my problem if so thank you so much!
Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!

Post a HijackThis log.
Download it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/files/2.0.5 beta/HijackThis.exe/download
Run HijackThis as Administrator, click on "I accept", then "Do a system scan and save a log file".
Then a text file will open. Copy everything, then paste it on https://paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.
While it does sound scary, it does not give us any personal or sensitive information.
