I can't login to the Minecraft launcher or the Mojang Studios account. I have no history with MCleaks or alts and I haven't even touched those websites. I tried emailing Mojang Studios using the forum but they haven't responded yet. My dad (who owns the account) has a different password for it than his other accounts so it is unlikely for it to be hacked. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!

Can't you get an alternative, you don't really need an antivirus if you have decent common sense. Defender is fine.
Well my dad says I can't, but it has worked even with Minecraft in the past, during the snapshots, so I don't know why it won't work now. And I now think it is not because of webroot.
Snapshots are developmental. Things may change between them.
It states on the link of incompatible software that Conor linked that it may cause issues. We can't really suggest much else. Can you uninstall WebRoot and see if it helps and if it doesn't you can reinstall it.

I deleted norton and comodo, made java and Minecraft allowed on webroot, and the proxy was disabled. But it still wasn't working.
Get rid of Webroot.
I can't because my dad said I couldn't.
Then you won't be able to play minecraft.
That isn't helping by saying that
