Trying to connect to a friend's rented server, and of the 8 of us that play regularly, two of us have a very difficult time connecting. We can eventually connect, but we get the error message in the title of the thread nearly every time. Sometimes I can connect to the server in three tries, sometimes it takes up to 50 tries before I finally give up.
Server is running All The Mods 4 0.3.2 , Forge 28.1.109 The error message that's coming up in my log is:
[17:52:44] [Netty Client IO #1/FATAL]: buildinggadgets config just got changed on the file system!
[17:52:44] [Netty Client IO #1/FATAL]: Forge config just got changed on the file system!
When trying to log in, it seems to hang at the encryption step.
We've tried relocating the server to another city, I've tried allocating more RAM and extending the timeout limit on the client, we've extended the timeout limit on the server, and a few other things. The most confusing thing about it is that I can eventually connect - it might take five minutes, it might take an hour.
AMD Phenom II X4 945 (yes, I know it's old, but it still runs like a champ)

BuildingGadgets config is corrupted or outdated
So should I just get someone who isn't having the problem to copy theirs and send it to me? The only thing that has me scratching my head over it is the fact that I *can* occasionally connect. Once I'm in, I have no problems. And there's two of us having the same problem.
