Alright, so today I went onto my Minecraft server and couldn't help but notice the lag. It was really annoying and it wasn't happening yesterday. I scavenged the internet for a while to try and find out why this was happening. I changed my Optifine settings. I restarted my PC. I added 4GB of ram to my game. I searched for malware. It wouldn't stop lagging! I tried deleting my .minecraft folder! (I kept a backup). Nothing helped! I tried going onto multiple worlds, multiple servers, nothing! I have no idea why today my Minecraft isn't working. I have 40gb free on both of my drives on my PC. I literally have no idea why my game is lagging, especially since it wasn't happening yesterday. I have a pretty good PC and seriously have no idea what to do.
Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
Already did, it even lags at 2 render distance. Yesterday on the SAME PC with the SAME SETTINGS it ran perfectly. SO CONFUSED. I noticed that it lags whenever I move my POV from left to right, whenever I'm facing straight i don't experience any lag, its only when I'm turning which is VERY ODD.
I tried this as STILL nothing. I'm so confused. The same problem continues and it only lags when I turn my head around, the game is super smooth whenever I'm facing forward. Here's another screenshot of my f3 menu.

Okay so weirdest thing: Last night, my game was running smoothly. It's almost like this entire problem wasn't there. I thought my PC was having a bad day or something. I log on right now, and the problem is occurring again? The thing is that I feel like it's lagging HARDER than before, which is super odd. I didn't change ANY settings since last night and I'm SUPER confused. I ran a Malwarebytes scan and there were no viruses, nothing. What in the world is happening with my Minecraft? If anyone knows what's happening, please let me know!
Okay so last night, I got onto Minecraft. I was playing for about 10 minutes before I realized, I wasn't getting ANY LAG. It was amazing! This morning, I go onto Minecraft and it's laggier than before. Laggier than when I started this thread. I haven't changed any settings at all in Minecraft or on my PC. I ran a Malwarebytes scan and I got no viruses (thankfully). I have no idea what's happening to my PC. If anyone knows what in the world is happening, let me know!
I tried putting on thermal paste. It didn't work. I repeated this like 2 times and looked up how to put on thermal paste correctly, still the same problem persists. So confused

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.

I'm on Optifine 1.14.4
Lower your render distance.

Just updated my graphics card drivers and still NOTHING is fixing it
Turn off mipmapping and biome blend.
I tried this as STILL nothing. I'm so confused. The same problem continues and it only lags when I turn my head around, the game is super smooth whenever I'm facing forward. Here's another screenshot of my f3 menu.
Turn off biome blend, it is under video settings-details-bottom right
I've tried turning off biome blend and mipmappping. I reset my video settings and then turned those two off again. STILL no result???

check your thermal paste on your cpu, it could be an overheating issue
I tried putting on thermal paste. It didn't work. I repeated this like 2 times and looked up how to put on thermal paste correctly, still the same problem persists. So confused
