I tried to open Minecraft 1.8.9 Optifine today and I got this error. It starts on the Mojang screen then crashes to the launcher showing the error. I've tried updating graphics drivers but it said It was up to date. I tried changing the allocated memory on the client but it didn't work. I'm running out of options and I can't find an answer online. How do I fix this error?

Unfortunately your computer is from medieval ages and really doesn't meet Minecraft's system requirements.
New computer time!

I'm actually surprised that it worked before. Unfortunately, like ConorGarland said, your computer is too old for Minecraft. You probably wouldn't be able to play newer versions of Minecraft because of this Intel graphics bug either. Anyhow, it's time for an upgrade! You'll have a much better experience playing Minecraft (and any other game) with a more powerful PC.
The laptop may be new, but it has low-end specs made for office use or browsing the internet, I would assume. It does not have the power needed to play games, even though you got it just last year. For comparison, this is the laptop I use. It is by no means a "high-end" gaming laptop, but it does generally have better specs than your average school or work laptop.
