My PC has never really been up to par with playing games. So I decided to upgrade a little at a time until I could build a better PC. Current specs are:
Board: MSI A68HM E33 V2
Card: MSI GEFORCE GTX 1050
Up until I added my card, I could play minecraft. Not the best gameplay, but it was playable. I added the card thinking it would give me better performance and FPS boost, but instead, the opposite. I went from 80-90fps to 2fps! Games that were once unplayable, I could now run on medium settings with no problem (DayZ, Stranded Deep). Ive tried several things like allocating more ram, uninstalling Java and reinstalling, going into NVIDIA settings and changing some Java settings, nothing seems to help. Can someone please help! Has anyone else had this problem? Why did this happen?
Follow the instructions carefully, see the link posted by Geforce above.
