I bought Minecraft yesterday, but haven`t been able to get it running. I have scavanged the internet but haven`t found a fix.
When i open the launcher, and press play (with any version) it stalls for a couple of seconds and then throws out an error box saying that the game has crashed. It doesn`t even allow me to view the crash report (the button is unresponsive). I use GeforceExperience and it says that it is "Unable to retrieve current game settings."
Things i have tried:
Reinstalling minecraft multiple times (Windows C:/Program files (x86))
Updating to the latest Nvidia drivers on GeforceExperience.
In custom installation options, changing the Java executable to just "Java"
I seem to be unable to find the crash report folder. As far as i understand it should be in the (AppData/roaming/.minecraft) folder however it is not present there. Maybe i`m looking for the wrong folder name?
