I created a resource pack in 1.14.3 . The only issue is that the ores, redstonetorches and the tall grass textures are not working at all. Anyone who knows how to fix this?
Any way you can put a download link to it for us (the minecraftforum community) to look at ?
- Might give us a better idea what the problem could be
I suspect 1 of 3 things
1: you've not named your ores correctly (in 1.13 names were changed due to something called 'flattening' - eg 1.12 'quarz_ore' = 1.13 'nether_quartz_ore - althoug your quartz ore is showing so I don't think it's that
2. (Although I'm not 100% sure) In 1.13/1.14 I THINK there's a way to customize the graphics of blocks using JSON files (so you could have animated blocks).. it is possible you have either JSON files missing for those blocks or JSON file for those blocks that have references to graphics that are missing
3. Your custom textures are in the wrong format / contains transparencies minecraft can't recognize (I think transparencies need to be in a certain format to work in MC)
....Oh just thought of something else. Do you have optifine installed ??
I (also) think that optifine can use 'connected textures' but resource packs need another folder for those
- so if that folder is missing then Optifine can't display connected textures

Thanks for trying to help me but I figured it out myself. The reason was that my mcmeta file was named incorrectly.
