I have been searching in vain for someone else with this issue. I have narrowed it down by removing 99% of mods and the issue still presents itself. For some reason the rain toggle in the game seems to be inverted as if a programmer accidentally put a true statement in place of a false statement. Allow me to explain in more detail with an example. You can best observe this phenomenon when using the NEI mod or MAtmos mod (or both at same time). When you toggle the rain on with NEI for example, it will be raining when the button is off and if you toggle it again, it will stop raining when the button is on. This is of course the inverse of how things should work. It becomes even more obvious when you include MAtmos which adds extra sounds to the game. When you toggle the rain off, it rains in the game, but no MAtmos sounds. When you toggle the rain on, the rain goes away but suddenly the MAtmos sounds kick in as the mod believes it should be raining now. Please don't get distracted. This is not an issue with MAtmos. Again, the issue presents itself even when MAtmos is removed. I am just using it to accentuate the issue. Now this issue appears to be tied to multiplayer because it functions as expected on single player. I have confirmed all the settings on the server, and again narrowed it down by stripping 99% of all mods away and the issue still presents itself. I don't know where to turn next as I don't know whats officially causing the problem... Forge? Cauldron? Thermos? Minecraft? If I at least knew what bit of code was causing the problem, I could better direct this question to the appropriate forum. Any suggestions?
