I recently installed Hexxit using the Technic Launcher. After this, I launched minecraft using the Latest Release 1.14.1 profile. When I went to multiplayer, all of the servers said they were outdated. I uninstalled Hexxit using the Technic Launcher but the problem still persists. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Update: I mostly just play singleplayer, so I wasn't super fixated on the issue and, although I was curious about how I could fix it, it wasn't killing me. That's why I'm updating this so late, relative to the day this was posted. Anyways, i created a new profile on the launcher that uses 1.14.0
Launching this profile and going to the server list showed no trace of the previous issue and is resolved for this account. I'm not sure how to fix the issue on the 1.14.1 account, but that doesn't bother me since I can now play multiplayer without going back to 1.13 or lower. I use the latest release profile by default, so by the time that 1.14.2 comes out, this problem would effectively be non-existent for me.
In case you're having the same problem that I was, this is a temporary or permanent fix, depending on whether or not you care about what version you're playing on.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft two times. The first, I uninstalled it from the Control Panel and the second, I deleted the .minecraft file in %appdata% but I copied the save data. I then reinstalled it through the launcher and put the save data back in.
The first time, the servers were still there and they had the same issue. On the second, I had to add back the servers manually, yet they still had the same error. Am I reinstalling it in a way different to what you suggested or is it just not working? In case it's the latter, I appreciate you trying to help.
