So whenever I use a torch or cook something in the furnace the blocks that reaches the level of lightning becomes black and different colors heres the screenshot
Considering I wasn't able to find similar issues through a Google search, and how strange the effects are, this appears to be a very rare thing where something has gone seriously wrong with the lighting engine. I tried messing around with settings using the same Optifine version, even messing with options through the file rather than the game to set it to unexpected values, but I was unable to recreate this issue.
The only thing I can think to recommend is to uninstall and reinstall your game.
Edit: If that doesn't work, I'd recommend reporting it to the Optifine team and see what they have to say about it through the issue tracker on their site.
So I was playing on forge 1.7.10 with the orespawn mod. When im in the overworld I decided to switch my texture pack to the default one the light bug is in there too but only when Im using the default pack in the overworld but if Im in other dimensions with the texture pack I'm using the bug happens in the dimension but not in the overworld (I didnt tried switching packs in the dimensions)
