Remove mods out one by one to find out which one it is.

I originally though of that too, but i play on a server with this mod pack and everyone else looks things up in creative mode without having issues, myself being the only one dropping from it.

My minecraft crashed when trying to use the creative search bar.
I was using the 1.7.10 pack with these mods:
