Hello everyone, so recently a couple friends of mine up here at school decided to get back into Minecraft, which sounded super fun. So I downloaded it and they told me that they were using a realm instead of a server (which its been so long that I literally had no idea what that was). But in order to use the realms feature you have to have an account that is verified to meet the age limit, and so, since my account is so old (I purchased the game in 2009) I needed to update my account to verify that, aka I needed to migrate my account to a mojang account. No problem right? Well I soon find that there is virtually no way to update your account if you don't have an email attached to it, and the problem is that when I made my account, it's so old that I never even had to enter an email (and I verified that this account didn't have an email by checking the profile log in the files of the game). Now the only other way to get around the email is by presenting a transaction number that you receive when you buy the game, but like I said, I bought the game nearly 10 years ago, and so it's near un-recoverable. So my question is, is there anything I can do to still update my account?
I'm simply asking if anyone has gone through a similar experience and hoping to take some advice from it, I know no one can do anything that has to do with my account, but someone certainly might be able to tell me what I can do with it myself. Please don't brush this off so quickly without really understanding the content of what I wrote.
the only advice is speak to the people who can help you, ONLY Mojang know what they need from you to verify your account, and their help pagesa help.mojang.com are full of information, like how to get your transaction ID if you lost it https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/361380
