So I run a Realm on Java 1.13. I have a few command blocks running, mainly controlling custom mobs and a thirst system, but other than that it's pretty much a vanilla survival world. The world never lags and runs just fine. Just today, I went into the End for the first time and killed the Ender Dragon. After its death, when the experience orbs fell into the portal, the entire realm froze, and soon I "timed out". Since then, I have not been able to play it. Here is a list of everything that I have tried:
- Rejoining either says "Timed out" while joining, or allows you to join, but everything instantly freezes and causes you to "time out" anyways.
- The same happens for other players besides myself, in the Overworld, joining.
- Closing the realm and reopening it worked to no effect.
- Switching the world slot works, and you can join these other worlds fine. When switched back to the world I'm having problems with, the error remains.
- Turning off command blocks and hostile mobs in the settings has no effect.
- Restoring to any world backup, besides the ones recorded while the world is still lagging, results in the world not being rolled back and getting the message "Could not restore the backup" after only a few seconds.
- Downloading a backup to singleplayer does one of two things:
- Keeps you on the "Preparing download" screen indefinitely.
- Allows the world to download, however joining it in singleplayer loads the spawn area (on the loading screen), and after that, you're faced with a blank, typical dirt loading screen. I've left it this way for about half an hour for nothing to happen.
Any suggestions or fixes? Mojang really needs to run their realms services better. I find most of the time, I'm coming to this site to ask for help with realms bugs. Any and all responses are appreciated!
How descript of a title, I know.
