First of all thanks for reading. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Me and my friend wanted to play LAN Multiplayer over hamachi. He can host fine but when I try to host he gets an error "io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information:" everytime he tries to join. We googled it and it says its a firewall issue, so we turned our firewalls off and nothing changes. We both use 3rd party anti-virus so windows firewall settings aren't being used.

He has Kaspersky

I have mcafee

We both have the latest Java 32 and 64 bit

Both using the latest version of minecraft

Both have the latest version of Hamachi and are on the same hamachi network

Again he can host perfectly fine but when I host he gets an error everytime he tries to join

Uninstall McAfee, see https://minecraftirc.net/support-articles/known-incompatible-software/

I found a thing that said ip address I added his to the list and that worked. Thanks for your help tails1
